Sioux Falls – Kalume Kiyombo, 50, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at his residence in Sioux Falls, SD.

A visitation will be 12:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2010 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2010 at George Boom Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hills of Rest Memorial Park.

A short biography of the late Kalume Kiyombo.

The late Kalume Kiyombo, son of Kiyombo Manara and Faila Mbokayao was born on January 25, 1959 at Kaenga in the Maniema Province. He attended his primary and secondary school in Kindu, where he obtained his State Certificate in 1977. Kalume graduated from the University of Kinshasa/Congo with a diploma in Pharmacy. He owned a large pharmaceutical store in Kinshash/Lemba and also worked for several years in the central bank of Congo (Zaire) as the head of the medical department. Kalume also held an Associate degree diploma in applied science from Kilian Community College in Sioux Falls in 1999.

Kalume was married to Mme Alphonsine Mwama Mulenda. He left behind a family of four children, Shabani Ramazani, Patrick Kiyombo, Mussi Ramazani, and Grady Faila Kalume.

For medical reasons, he went to South Africa before moving to Sioux Falls. Kalume died unexpectedly at his residence, 5504 W. Pineridge Drive, Sioux Falls on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 2:30 AM.

Bréve biographie de feu Kalume Kiyombo.

Feu Kalume Kiyombo, fils de Kiyombo Manara et de Faila Mbokayao, est né le 25 janvier 1959 à Kaenga dans la province du Maniema. Il a fait ses études primaires et secondaires à Kindu où il a obtenu son diplôme d’Etat en 1977.

Pharmacien de formation, il a obtenu son diplôme de pharmacien à l’Université de Kinshasa en 1984.

Proprietaire d’une grande officine pharmaceutique à Kinshasa/Lemba, Kalume Kiyombo a travaillé pendant plusiers années à la Banque Nationale du Congo (Zaire) en qualité du chef de Departement Medical.

Kalume Kiyombo est également détenteur d’un deplôme “Associate Degree” en Sciences Appliquées de “Kilian Community College” obtenu en 1999 à Sioux Falls.

Marié à Alphonsine Mwama Mulenda, feu Kalume Kiyombo laisse une famille de quatre enfants dont Shabani Ramazani, Patrick Kiyombo, Mussi Ramazani et Grady Faila Kalume.

Pour des raisons d’ordre medical, feu Kalume s’est rendu tour à tour en Afrique du Sud et ici aux Etats-Unis d’Amerique où l’a mort l’a surpris en sa residence située sur 5504 Pineridge Drive, Sioux Falls, le Mardi 19 Janvier 2010 vers 2 heures 30 du matin.
